Key Features & Options: Forward Controls, Recent Dunlop Tires, Its burly, air-cooled, 65-cubic-inch V-twin pumps out big, fat chunks of low end torque. Drop in a smooth-shifting 5 speed transmissiom and low-maintenance shaft drive. And then spoon it all into a long, 64.5" wheelbase strung between wire-spoked wheels and drag-style handlebars. The V Star® 1100 Custom comes all the chrome-plated, teardrop-tanked, low-riding, piston-pounding appeal of other V-twin mega-cruisers, but for literally thousands of dollars less Mechanical Notes: I enjoyed a smooth 10 mile test drive. This bike feels great, smooth and real strong. There are no abnormal sounds or vibrations, it starts right up, accelerates, shifts, stops and handles as it should. I have looked it over and given it a good inspection with everything checking out great, it’s obvious that this bike has been easily ridden and well maintained. The service is up to date, the oil and filter were just changed and all fluids checked it’s ready to ride. Cosmetic Comments: Please look real close at the up-to-the-minute photos as they show this bike really well. The purple paint is deep, rich, clean and shiny with no fading or swirl marks, it really looks nice. The chrome is brightly polished and free of pitting or pealing. The frame components look great and are not faded or dull. There is a small scratch on the rear fender and a couple on the tank that are shown in the photos. Overall this is a great looking bike that doesn’t show many miles. There are no dings, dents, rips, tears, rust, corrosion or major flaws that are not mentioned.
